What is Chomp & Nibble?
Chomp & Nibble, Inc. is a homemade dog food delivery service. Our food is healthy and fresh. We prepare, package and deliver our food all in the same day. One of our core principals is to provide convenience to our customers, that is why we package our meals in individual serving sizes and deliver to your doorstep on a weekly or monthly basis. We offer high-quality products that dogs will love.
Where are you located?
Our business headquarters is located in Mountain View, California and our food is hand prepared at an FDA certified commercial kitchen in Palo Alto, California.
Who owns and operates Chomp & Nibble?
Paula Bogard and Stuart Tugendreich own and operate Chomp & Nibble. Paula and Stuart have twin boys and two dogs, Ivy and Rusty, whom they consider their first babies. Paula’s first career was in Human Resources. After 20 years of helping people, Paula decided it was time to turn her lifelong love of animals into a business. Stuart is the Scientific Director at a scientific software development company. Paula manages the day-to-day operations of the business, and Stuart is instrumental in recipe development, nutritional analysis and everything technology related.
Is Chomp & Nibble complete and balanced?
Yes! Chomp & Nibble will meet all of your pet’s nutritional needs. Our complete and balanced food provides all essential nutrients at recommended levels according to the accepted provisions by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO).
Do you make meals for all life stages?
At this time Chomp & Nibble is formulated for adult (1 year and older) maintenance only. In the future we may offer formulations for other life stages to include growth for puppies and reproductive females. Stay tuned!
Do you make custom recipes?
Yes! We understand the unique dietary needs of some pets. We will work with you and your veterinarian to formulate a special diet just for you. Contact paula@chompandnibble.com for more information.
What ingredients do you use?
We use only USDA grade meats. Our vegetables, fruit and whole grains are organic and local when possible.
Where can I find the nutritional content of each meal?
Each meal has been formulated to meet the AAFCO requirements for protein, fat, fiber, moisture and calories. Please visit our Food page for a description of our meals.
How do I transition my dog to Chomp & Nibble?
Although recommended, not all dogs need a transition plan. It is up to the individual pet owner and or his/her veterinarian to decide if one is needed.
How much Chomp & Nibble do I feed my dog?
There are many considerations when deciding
how much to feed your dog. If your pet is
overweight, underweight, ill, or has a higher
than normal activity level, you may consult your
veterinarian on appropriate daily consumption.
We package our food in six different sizes
from ¼ cup to 3 cups. View our guidelines on

You may decide to feed your pet more or less
based on your preference and your pets unique
needs and lifestyle.
Can I mix Chomp & Nibble with other dog food?
We do not recommend mixing Chomp & Nibble with other dog food. Our meals have been formulated and tested to ensure a complete and balanced diet. If you mix in other dog food, such as kibble, it will change the nutritional profile.
How do I prepare and feed my dog Chomp & Nibble?
It is simple and effortless! For meals stored in your refrigerator (4-5 days worth), open the package and serve. For frozen meals, defrost overnight in the refrigerator, open the package and serve. You can also warm your meals in the microwave. No measuring, no can openers, no fuss, no mess!
What does Chomp & Nibble Cost?
Our complete and balanced meals are $2.50 for one cup, approximately 7 ounces. Below is the cost based on your pet's weight and serving size.

Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, and Sunnyvale. As our business continues to grow we will add new geographical areas.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Our delivery fee is $3.00. If you would like your meals delivered outside of our delivery area, please contact us.
Do I have to be at home to receive my pet food?
No! We deliver your pet meals in an insulated sealed bag that will be left on your doorstep, or wherever you designate.
What do you deliver Chomp & Nibble in?
We deliver your individually packed meals in insulated bags that will preserve your pet meals for 2-4 hours.
What type of packaging do you use?
Individual serving sizes are wrapped in recyclable freezer paper then sealed with a sticker.
How do I store my meals?
We recommend storing 4-5 days worth of meals in your refrigerator, and the remaining in the freezer.
How does Chomp & Nibble compare to other commercial and homemade dog food?
